Textured floor coatings can be one part of a workplace flooring plan, but “anti-slip” is not a promise that nobody will slip. Select the coating, aggregate and cleaning arrangements for the real surface and contamination conditions.
What an anti-slip coating changes
An aggregate or textured finish changes the surface profile. Products differ in coating chemistry, aggregate supply and application. A separately supplied additive must not be mistaken for a pre-mixed coating, and a smooth version is not automatically anti-slip because it appears in the same collection.

Use the selected label for its brush/roller method; obtain manufacturer confirmation before proposing a spray method with aggregate.
What texture does not prove
- It does not establish grip on every wet, oily, icy or algae-covered surface.
- It does not establish a tested slip rating or automatic regulatory compliance.
- It does not make a decorative coating a waterproofing or wet-room system.
- It does not prove the coating is suitable for forklifts or every cleaning chemical.

Match the product to the job

- Use compatible cleaning methods and inspect worn or contaminated areas.
