Coo-Var Anti-Damp Paint is a white, matt, low-odour resin-based primer for damp-stained interior walls and ceilings. It controls moisture release and reduces discolouration before a suitable decorative topcoat. The dry film contains a preservative biocide. It does not cure the cause of damp.
Where to use it
Suitable for prepared plaster, cement and stone. The surface may be damp but must not be saturated. Repair leaks, plumbing or structural faults first, and treat existing mould with a suitable mould remover.
Application
- Pack size: 2.5L; white matt finish.
- Expected coverage: approximately 9m² per litre; actual coverage depends on surface.
- Apply by brush, roller or suitable spray equipment to a clean, sound surface.
- Touch dry: approximately 2 hours at 20°C; hard dry: approximately 8 hours.
- Overcoat after at least 12 hours or overnight with a suitable topcoat.
- Use adequate ventilation. Clean tools with Coo-Var Thinners 14, according to the technical sheet.
