Extreme Paints Industrial‑Grade Polyurethane Floor Paint is a premium single‑pack, heavy‑duty coating formulated with high‑performance polyurethane resins to handle the demands of factories, warehouses and busy garages. Its high‑build film provides superior resistance to tyre plucks, impacts and abrasion while maintaining a deep gloss that repels oil, petrol and many chemicals.

The optional anti‑slip version is pre‑blended with fine silica grit, adding a textured surface that improves under‑foot safety on ramps and wet areas without sacrificing cleanability. Easier to apply than two‑part epoxies, this solvent‑borne formula levels beautifully and cures to a durable, easy‑clean surface.

Manufactured in the UK under ISO 9001 QA, every batch is viscosity‑checked to ensure consistent coverage and colour accuracy. Always in stock for rapid dispatch—ideal when large floor areas need a fast turnaround.

Suitable Substrates

Concrete, sealed or bare; well‑prepared metal; sound timber; most porous masonry. Power‑floated or polished concrete must be mechanically ground to open the surface. Self‑levelling screeds are usually non‑porous and not recommended.

Bare concrete should first receive one coat of Extreme Paints Clear Polyurethane Primer & Sealer to maximise penetration and adhesion.

Primer requiredRecommended on bare, polished or brittle concrete (Extreme Paints PU Primer & Sealer)
  1. Surface Preparation – Remove dust, grease and loose paint. Ensure substrate is dry (< 4 % moisture). Grind power‑floated concrete and etch self‑levelling screeds.
  2. Priming – Apply one thin coat of Extreme Paints Clear Polyurethane Primer & Sealer on bare, porous or ground concrete.
  3. Mixing – Stir the paint thoroughly with a paddle mixer for 3 minutes. Ensure anti‑slip grit is evenly distributed if applicable.
  4. Application Method – Brush or roller. Airless or HVLP spray for normal finish only (anti‑slip variant is not sprayable). Apply two thin, even coats at right angles, avoiding puddles.
  5. Curing – Allow 6–8 h between coats. Light foot traffic after 24 h; forklift traffic after 72 h at 18 °C. Full chemical resistance in seven days.
