Coverage & Spread Rate

• Approximate coverage: 8 m² per litre per coat (depending on wood type and porosity)

• 5 L tin: ≈ 40 m² total coverage (1 coat)

• 20 L tin: ≈ 160 m² total coverage (1 coat)

Two liberal coats are recommended for maximum depth of colour and extended durability.

Drying & Curing Times (@ 18 °C)

• Touch Dry: 4–6 hours

• Recoat Interval: 6–8 hours (ensure surface is touch dry before recoating)

• Complete Cure: 24 hours

• Weatherproof Protection: Achieved after complete cure (avoid rainfall during drying)

Proper ventilation ensures quicker drying and better penetration. Avoid painting in direct sunlight or high humidity conditions.

Surface Preparation

Before application, ensure all timber is sound, dry, and free of dust, dirt, grease, or moss. Remove old paint or varnish by sanding or stripping back to bare wood.
For best results:

• Clean thoroughly using a suitable wood cleaner or jet wash.

• Allow timber to dry completely (moisture content below 18%).

• Mask off nearby surfaces to avoid overspray or drips.

Children, pets, and animals should be kept away from treated areas until the surface is dehydrated.

Storage & Handling

• Store sealed containers between 5 °C and 30 °C in a dry, well-ventilated place away from open flames or direct sunlight.

• Ensure lids are tightly closed between uses to prevent skin formation.

• Dispose of waste and empty tins according to local environmental regulations.
