Extreme Clean Decking Cleaner is a concentrated detergent cleaner for washing outdoor decking. It helps lift accumulated dirt, oily marks and general grime so you can refresh the surface before routine maintenance.

Suitable for decking

Use on decking where the surface or finish is compatible with detergent cleaning. Test an inconspicuous area first, particularly on painted, stained or treated surfaces.

How to use

Dilute the concentrate with fresh water. Select the dilution for the condition of the decking and test a small area before cleaning the whole surface.
Apply the diluted cleaner and work it over the soiled area with a suitable brush.
Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Allow the decking to dry before applying any new finish.

Avoid allowing the cleaner to dry on the surface. Follow the product label and safety data sheet for handling and use.

Application Instructions

Before You Start

Park in a shaded, well-ventilated area and make sure exterior panels are cool. Close windows, doors and roof vents. Rinse off loose grit first to reduce scratching, then test the cleaner on a small inconspicuous area, especially on aged graphics, polished aluminium, acrylic glazing or previously repaired finishes.

Dilution

For routine washing, dilute with clean water up to 1:20. Use a stronger mixture for stubborn road film, black streaks or biological growth, working within the stated neat-to-1:20 range. Start with the weakest effective dilution and never mix this cleaner with bleach, acids or other cleaning chemicals.

Application

Apply from the bottom upwards using a soft brush, sponge or low-pressure sprayer so coverage stays even and run marks are easier to control. Work in manageable sections and avoid spraying directly into vents, electrical fittings, seals or open joints.

Contact Time and Agitation

Allow 3–5 minutes contact time, gently agitating heavily soiled areas with a soft brush or sponge. Do not allow the product to dry on the surface; mist with clean water if necessary while working.

Rinsing

Rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water from the top down until all foam and loosened contamination have been removed. Check window edges, trim channels, awning rails and seals for trapped residue. Repeat locally if needed rather than extending the contact time.

Aftercare

Allow the exterior to dry fully before applying wax, polish or ceramic protection. Clean tools with water after use. Wear gloves and eye protection, protect nearby plants, and prevent concentrated product or rinse water from entering drains or watercourses. Consult the product safety data sheet before use.

What surfaces is Extreme Clean Caravan & Motorhome Cleaner designed for?

It is designed for common caravan and motorhome exterior materials including GRP, gelcoat, painted aluminium, plastics, acrylic windows, vinyl graphics and rubber seals. Surface condition and previous treatments vary, so always test a small inconspicuous area first.

How should I dilute the cleaner?

The stated dilution range is neat to 1:20 with clean water. Use up to 1:20 for routine washing and a stronger mixture only where needed for stubborn contamination. Start with the weakest effective dilution.

How long should the cleaner remain on the surface?

Allow approximately 3–5 minutes contact time. Agitate stubborn areas gently and do not let the cleaner dry on the surface before rinsing.

Will it remove black streaks, road film and biological growth?

It is formulated to lift traffic film, greasy deposits, black streaks, salt spray, algae, mildew and mould. Heavy or established contamination may need a second local treatment.

Can I use it on acrylic windows and vinyl graphics?

The formula is designed for these materials when correctly diluted and rinsed, but aged, damaged or aftermarket finishes can react differently. Test first and avoid prolonged contact.

Can I apply it with a pressure washer?

A low-pressure sprayer can be used for application. If rinsing with a pressure washer, use a broad low-pressure setting and keep a safe distance from seals, vents, decals and joints.

Does it leave residue before waxing or ceramic protection?

It is designed to rinse clean. Rinse thoroughly and allow the surface to dry fully before applying wax, polish or ceramic protection.

Is the formula biodegradable?

The current technical specification records greater than 90% biodegradability under OECD 301F. This does not mean concentrated product or rinse water should enter drains or watercourses; contain and dispose of runoff responsibly.

What safety precautions should I take?

Wear gloves and eye protection, work in a ventilated area and avoid inhaling spray mist. Never mix the cleaner with bleach, acids or other chemicals. Read the product safety data sheet before use.
