Coo-Var Anti-Condensation Paint is a white matt interior finish for walls and ceilings prone to condensation. Its insulating microspheres help reduce condensation, while a biocidal preservative protects the paint film and reduces discolouration. It does not remove existing mould or fix a leak or ventilation problem.
Preparation and application
Address the cause of moisture and use suitable ventilation. Surfaces must be clean, dry, sound and free of grease and existing mould. Treat mould with a proprietary mould remover before painting. Sand sound glossy coatings and remove loose or flaking material.
- Pack size: 2.5L; white matt finish.
- Expected coverage: 8–10m² per litre, depending on the surface.
- Apply two full coats by brush or roller, allowing at least 4 hours between coats at approximately 20°C.
- Touch dry: approximately 2 hours; hard dry: approximately 4 hours; full hardness: 3–5 days.
- Do not apply below 10°C. Clean tools with water.
