Large paint projects should be planned with a confirmed product specification and a written quotation. Availability, packaging, price, batch arrangements and delivery timing must be agreed for the actual order.
Define the specification
Record the surface, preparation, approved coating system, colour, finish and quantity calculation. Include primer and every required coat. Use the floor-paint coverage guide for the calculation method, using the chosen product’s confirmed coverage.
Ask for a project quotation
Contact Trade Supplies UK with the products and quantities required, including enquiries around 1000 litres. Do not assume that a particular packaging format, bulk discount or stock quantity is available before it is confirmed.
Batch and colour arrangements
Ask whether the required quantity can be supplied from one production batch and record the agreed arrangement in writing. Do not promise guaranteed batch consistency. Follow the manufacturer’s advice for colour matching and phased application.
Plan delivery
Confirm destination, access, unloading arrangements, packaging, lead time and any delivery charge before ordering. A normal small-order dispatch estimate does not establish the schedule for a large project. Do not assume every destination is covered.
Storage and phased work
Use each product’s current safety and technical sheets for storage temperature, shelf life and handling. Plan secure storage and the sequence of work. Do not use a universal 5–25°C storage rule for every paint or promise automatic commercial terms.
