Extreme Seal Tarmac Restorer & Sealer is a premium, water-based acrylic tarmac paint and driveway sealer designed to rejuvenate, seal, and protect tired tarmacadam, asphalt, and concrete in one fast application. The low-odour, low-VOC resin penetrates worn surfaces to lock loose aggregate and prevent fretting/ravelling, while forming a tough, breathable barrier that sheds rainwater and helps repel oil, fuel, dirt, and de-icing salts. 

Unlike solvent systems, this next-generation acrylic delivers five-year weatherfast performance with easier application, faster turnarounds, and safer clean-up.

Choose from Black, Red, or Charcoal to match existing drives or create a fresh, uniform appearance across domestic and commercial driveways, car parks, forecourts, footpaths, playgrounds, cycle lanes, estate roads, and sports courts (including faded red tarmac). For added safety on slopes and high-traffic walkways, the factory-mixed Anti-Slip variant includes rounded quartz grit to create a micro-textured finish that improves traction without harsh sharpness underfoot.

The application is straightforward, using a brush, roller, or low-pressure sprayer. At 18 °C, the coating is touch-dry in around 3 hours and ready for vehicle traffic after 24 hours, allowing most projects to be completed over a weekend with minimal disruption. Two thin, even coats produce a uniform satin finish with rich colour depth and long-term UV stability.

Suitable Substrates:

• Tarmacadam and asphalt driveways and paths

• Aged/faded red tarmac on courts, lanes, and estate roads

• Concrete drives, forecourts, and pedestrian routes (sound and dry)

Ensure surfaces are clean, sound, and dry before coating. Not recommended where standing water is present or on highly polished, non-porous surfaces.

Coverage & Spread Rate:

• First coat: approx. 4 m²/L (≈ 20 m² per 5 L) depending on porosity and wear

• Second coat: approx. 6 m²/L (≈ 30 m² per 5 L) on a previously coated surface

Apply two thin coats at right angles for best uniformity, seal, and colour depth.

Drying & Curing Times (@ 18 °C):

• Touch dry: ~ 3 hours

• Recoat: When touch-dry and matte (typically 3–4 hours)

• Light foot traffic: After 6–8 hours

• Vehicle traffic: After 24 hours

• Full weatherproof cure: 7 days

Keep freshly coated areas dry for at least 6 hours after application. Cooler or damp conditions extend drying.

Finish & Sheen:

• Satin, colour-rich finish (Normal) for a fresh, uniform driveway appearance

• Micro-textured matt (Anti-Slip) with rounded quartz grit for added grip on slopes and busy walkways

Storage & Clean-Up:

• Store sealed between 5–30 °C in frost-free conditions; avoid direct heat and sunlight.

• Water-based: clean brushes, rollers, and trays with warm, soapy water before cure

• Thinners: product is ready to use; can be diluted with clean water if necessary (not recommended as it reduces film build)
