Extreme Paints Roof Tile Paint & Sealer is an acrylic coating for refreshing the colour of sound, porous concrete and compatible clay roof tiles. It provides a satin finish and combines painting and sealing in one product.
Confirm the tile type, condition and compatibility before ordering. A roof coating is not a repair for broken tiles, leaks or structural defects. Check coverage per coat and order the required colour quantity together.
Made in the UK, it is available in 5 L, 10 L, and 20 L packs, providing a reliable and long-lasting solution for roofers, property managers, and homeowners seeking to enhance curb appeal and extend roof life with minimal downtime.
Roof Work Safety
Paint drying or curing does not make a roof safe to walk on. Treat roofs as fragile unless a competent person has confirmed otherwise; arrange suitable access and fall protection before any work. See HSE guidance on fragile roofs. If asbestos is present or suspected, stop and obtain competent advice on assessment, preparation and coating suitability. The general preparation instructions on this page do not apply to asbestos-containing materials.
Suitable Substrates
-
Concrete roof tiles: Durable and commonly used for residential roofing, providing longevity and strength.
-
Clay roof tiles (except delicate rosemary type): Traditional, natural clay tiles known for their aesthetic appeal and weather resistance, excluding the fragile rosemary variety.
-
Fibre-cement sheets: Versatile building material made from a mix of cement and fibre, suitable for roofing and siding.
-
Artificial slate: Confirm compatibility with the specific artificial-slate material before coating.
-
Sound masonry parapets: Structural elements that provide safety and aesthetic value at roof edges, designed to be solid and stable.
Not suitable for plastic, composite, or resin-bonded synthetic tiles: These materials are incompatible due to weight, bonding, or structural issues.

-
4–6 m² per litre per coat (depends on tile porosity and texture).

-
Recoat window: 2–4 hours
