A warehouse floor needs a product-specific specification. Polyurethane branding alone does not prove that a coating can withstand forklift turning, loading or a particular industrial cleaning regime.
Describe the traffic
Tell the supplier about wheel types, loaded weights, braking and turning areas, loading bays and pedestrian routes. Request written approval for the complete coating system and the proposed traffic. A garage recommendation is not automatically a forklift approval.
Choose the actual system
Compare Extreme polyurethane floor paint with other floor paints. Confirm the approved primer and application instructions for the chosen product. This Extreme product is single-pack and is not suitable for wet rooms. Do not add a hardener or transfer instructions from another brand.
Prepare the floor
Read the concrete preparation guide. Remove incompatible or poorly bonded material and investigate contamination and moisture. Repair and prepare the floor as required by the selected system; painting over a defective slab will not resolve its cause.
Application and reopening
Follow the product’s current coat count, coverage, temperature and recoat instructions. Confirm separate pedestrian, vehicle, forklift and full-cure stages. Do not use a generic 72-hour forklift rule. Confirm whether an additive is approved; do not spray an anti-slip mixture without explicit approval.
Maintain the finish
