Extreme Seal Vehicle Floor Waterproofing Paint is a professional-grade polyurethane-alkyd coating designed to give long-lasting waterproofing, impact resistance, and slip protection to van floors, trailer beds, loading bays, and mobile workspace interiors. Formulated with high-solids resins and anti-corrosive pigments, it creates a flexible yet tough protective membrane that locks out moisture, prevents rust, and extends the service life of timber, metal, GRP, and concrete flooring systems.

Unlike standard floor paints that chip or wear away under heavy use, this vehicle floor sealer is engineered to withstand rolling loads, foot traffic, trolleys, cargo movement, and repeated cleaning with detergents or solvents. Its integrated silica-textured finish provides dependable anti-slip performance even when wet, giving tradespeople, mechanics, dog groomers, valeters, and mobile service operators a safer and more professional working environment.

The paint dries to a low-sheen satin finish that disguises scuffs and makes routine wash-downs faster and easier. For smooth or highly porous surfaces, use Extreme PU Floor Primer & Sealer beforehand to maximise adhesion and prevent delamination.

Primer strongly recommended for smooth galvanised steel, very porous concrete, or brittle substrates.

Coverage & Spread Rate:

• Smooth ply or metal surfaces: 5–7 m² per litre per coat

• Porous concrete (first coat): ~4 m² per litre

• Two thin coats are recommended to achieve optimum film build and long-term performance.

Drying & Curing Times (@ 18 °C):

• Touch dry: 4–6 hours

• Recoat: 6–8 hours

• Light foot traffic: 12 hours

• Load cargo: 24 hours

• Full chemical resistance/cure: 7 days

This rapid curing profile ensures vehicle downtime is kept to a minimum while still delivering industrial-grade protection.

Storage & Clean-Up:

• Store sealed containers between 5–30 °C, away from open flames, sparks, or ignition sources.

• Clean brushes, rollers, and spray equipment immediately after use with white spirit or standard thinner.

• Always reseal tins firmly between uses to avoid skinning.
