Extreme Paints Quick-Drying Concrete Floor & Patio Paint + Sealer is a next-generation acrylic coating designed to transform and protect concrete, block paving, and screeded surfaces. This dual-function formula works both as a decorative floor paint and a durable sealer, offering excellent protection against dust, tyre scuffs, oil drips, salt deposits, and light chemical exposure.

Developed and manufactured in the UK under ISO 9001 quality controls, this water-based coating offers a safe, low-odour alternative to solvent-based concrete paints, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Its breathable film technology allows moisture trapped in the substrate to escape while still sealing the surface against wear and staining. This reduces blistering, peeling, and other common coating failures, giving homeowners and professionals a reliable, fast-drying concrete sealer that performs in real-world conditions.

Extreme Paints Quick-Drying Floor & Patio Paint is available in smooth satin or anti-slip textured finishes, giving you flexibility depending on the application. The smooth satin version is ideal for showrooms, garages, utility spaces, and patios where an easy-clean finish is preferred. The anti-slip variant incorporates silica grit for enhanced grip, making it perfect for ramps, pool surrounds, driveways, and high-footfall areas where safety is essential. 

By upgrading standard concrete paint with added sealer performance, this product ensures your surfaces stay protected, practical, and attractive for years.

Suitable Substrates:

This quick-drying concrete sealer is suitable for:

• Concrete slabs and screeds: indoors or outdoors, provided they are fully dry and prepared.

• Block paving: ensuring joints and surfaces are clean and free from moss or oil.

• Well-bonded painted surfaces: as long as the existing paint is intact and compatible.

Not recommended for asphalt, self-leveling screeds, or natural stone with protruding aggregate.

Available Colours:

Choose from 14 durable shades tailored for industrial, commercial, and residential use: Light Grey, Mid Grey, Dark Grey, Rustic Red, Light Blue, Mid Blue, Dark Blue, Mid Green, Dark Green, Black, White, Sandstone, Terracotta, and Brown.

For large-scale projects or branding requirements, custom RAL and BS colours can be manufactured on orders above 100 litres, making this an ideal choice for companies that require safety demarcation, corporate branding, or bespoke finishes.

Coverage & Spread Rate:

• 6–8 m² per litre per coat, depending on porosity and surface profile.

• Two thin coats at right angles provide the best film build, even coverage, and long-term durability.

• A 5L tin typically covers 15–20 m² with two coats, while a 20L tin covers up to 65 m².

Drying & Curing Times (@ 18 °C):

• Touch dry: 1–2 hours

• Recoat: 2–4 hours

• Light foot traffic: 12 hours

• Vehicle traffic: 48 hours

• Full cure and chemical resistance: 7 days

This rapid curing schedule means patios, garages, or driveways can be returned to service quickly, reducing downtime.

Storage & Thinning:

• Store sealed containers between 5–30 °C in a dry, frost-free place.

• The product is ready to use; it is thin only if spraying (max 5% clean water).

• Over-thinning reduces film build and protection.

• Reseal firmly between uses to prevent skinning or contamination.

Safety Notice:

Although water-based and low-odour, this quick-drying floor paint should still be applied in a well-ventilated space. Avoid eye contact and prolonged skin exposure. Always wear gloves and eye protection during application. Keep away from children and pets until fully cured. Not suitable for ingestion.
