A durable semi-shine Oxide Primer with a Rust inhibiting formula preventing the risk of corrosion. It is oil based and suitable for wood and steelwork. High durability and is easy to clean. Primer can be applied by brush, roller, airless spray or conventional spray. For best results, always prepare the area which is to be painted ensuring that it is free from rust, dust, oil, dirt etc.

Extreme Paints Oxide Primer is ideal for use on iron, steel, and other metal structures, including. Brush, Roller, or Sprayer. Make Sure Surface is 100% dry and free from any moisture or contaminants before application. Do not apply if there is any chance of rain.

How to Apply

Thoroughly and thoroughly clean the surface before use, removing all dust, grease, and rust. For best results, shake the primer well before use. Use a brush, roller, or spray gun for even coverage. Always allow it to dry completely before applying another coat.

STORAGE PRECAUTIONS

Store away from heat and naked flames. Secure lid between uses to prevent paint hardening.

THINNERS

White Spirit or Turpentine Substitute can be used for thinning.

SURFACE PREPARATION

• Ensure all surfaces are sound and clean, free of algae and moss.

• Ensure surface is completely dry and free from condensation and damp.

• Remove any loose or flaking paint.

If items are purchased on separate occasions there may be a slight color variation as our products are manufactured in different batches.

Container variation

Occasionally when demand is high the manufacturer will run out of stock of the printed containers, this may result in the item being dispatched in white containers.

Yes, but make sure the old paint is thoroughly sanded and completely cleaned before using this product for best adhesion.
